Notes
Praise be to God alone, our beloved, the virtuous leader, the Sufi jurist, Si Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. And what is required is permission, as is customary, to lighten some of the studies, for Pentecost has arrived and the animals are weak, and God protects you and blesses you. This and we are on the wing seeking to reach the Noble Presence, may God preserve it, may God preserve it. We have entrusted you to God, and we ask your good prayers and peace. On the 17th of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 1289, the request was drawn up by Muhammad al-Mahdi, may God be kind to him, Amin. If I sign with the leaders of Pentecost to decide who is the tax collector, then it will be returned to you. It is fair to them and they love, so I want it, may God bless you and peace.
