Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After his honorable affair is stored, God commissioned the honorable Moulay Idris, son of Moulay Al-Tayeb, to (amputate) the house in his hand to its Lord and create for him a house in which to live that would be according to his condition and love and peace. And on the 5th of Muharram in the year 1286, and the summer of high status, God is my relief.
