Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, our master, the eminent jurist, the Pasha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. And after, sir, we told you about the boy who was accused of killing the man above, so investigate whether he ordered his guardians of the murdered man to impose a dhimma on the murderer, but then they came and were unable to prove what they claimed against him because they did not find anything true, and they allowed him to be discharged, as indicated by the testimony of two just people, as shown herewith. His horoscope is good for you, and upon him, my lord, he has survived. Your Excellency gives permission for his discharge and looks upon him. The great face of God and His great rewards. By God, the reward of one who does good deeds is not wasted. And here are fifty riyals under my hand. If you order him to be discharged, we will direct them to you. By God and his right, I have not received from his Lord except two riyals because he is poor and has nothing in his hand. And your view is broader and for service and peace.
