Praise be to God, who illuminated with the light of his guidance the hearts of the knowledgeable, the eminent, who inspired the souls (...) An example of revelation in a dream so that you can enjoy the statue of the purifying Holy Spirit, which is his spirit, peace and blessings be upon him, so that we may benefit from it in knowledge, secrets, precious gems, and specific and general words according to the divine providence. The end of the manuscript: Among them is that he, may God be pleased with him, said, “When the mirrors were perfected in the transcription, it occurred to me to call it Tuhfat al-Ra’i with what God has revealed from the mirrors. I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in a dream, and he said to me, ‘Rather, call it Tuhfat al-Nazir and Nuzhat al-Manazir.’ May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master and Lord Muhammad and his family and companions.
