Notes
The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful......Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds......As for what follows, in this writing, I intended, God willing, to teach the learner and the semi-teacher the duties of Imam Sheikh Khalil, may God be pleased with him, limiting himself to his words and what is appropriate for him only.
The end of the manuscript: For it has revealed the face of the problem, the title, and removed the vague, blind, veil......and I have finished what I have written, praise be to God......and it was completed in the first ten days of Ramadan in the year eight hundred and eighty. It was completed, thanks be to God....at the hand of....Muhammad bin Qasim bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Qasim bin.....Shahr by Ibn Al-Qadi...and the completion of its transcription was in the middle of Jumada Al-Awwal in the year 1012.
