Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and the family of our beloved and master the jurist, the eminent and best Pasha, Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant you success and peace be upon you for the best of our Lord, may God support him. And then yesterday, he responded to the aforementioned nobleman with his tirade and complained that he had a virgin daughter who had been absent from his home for two nights, and he began to look for her, so he smelled her scent at the aforementioned lord, and asked for her to be arrested so that she would appear quickly. So I confronted her, but we did not prevail at that time except against the second, and when he was imprisoned, his first brother asked for mercy in the Idrisian sanctuary, and then the girl appeared and returned to her father’s house, and when she was robbed, she answered that the two aforementioned brothers, along with the three, the last of whom was Al-Zarwaq, had entered their country against her will and spoiled her virginity. She confessed this in a court of justice. Then two midwives turned her over and testified that her virginity had been removed, and on the morning of that day, the aforementioned girl’s uncle went to Tora and gave birth to his sister. The aforementioned are armed in the request of the aforementioned defendants in Tora and his sister’s son. We did not know where they were. We informed you of the case and your consideration of it. You ordered the father to come to your council. He will see you and the father of the two children as well, and as you have commanded us, the work will be done, God willing. This and the invitation of Si Muhammad ibn al-Faqih, with the two nobles, Sidi Abdullah al-Idrisi and Sir Abd al-Qadir al-Alami, we have separated it as you commanded, and forty mithqals were received from it, and fifty mithqals of it were received, and fifty mithqals of it were received for the year, and for the service. The two Ismaili brothers, Sidi Muhammad and Sidi Al-Tahami, the father of Moulay Ahmed Al-Idrissi, the honorable Sidi Al-Tayeb bin Al-Habib bin Al-Tayeb Al-Idrissi, Sidi Muhammad bin Idris bin Ali, the lineage, and he is the paternal uncle of the two brothers, Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Makki Al-Zawaq, from the common people, in the hands of Qaddour bin Omar, Sidi Muhammad bin Muhammad. Praise be to God, after the appointment to the position of our Lord, the Caliph, may God honor him, we conclude to our master, may God protect him, that this letter is the one that he directed as a deputy in the corner regarding Nazila, the daughter of the Sharif, Moulay Taya Al-Ismaili. Let our Lord, may God bless him, read it. Here we have written to the writer to direct those arrested to the prison of this Hazrat, and to place the restrictions on those who ask for mercy and on the service of our Lord.
