Notes
Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, our master the jurist, the most glorious, the most guiding leader, the happiest leader, my master Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, Your Highness God. And after, sir, you receive a man complaining that people from Bani Ammar have plowed for him about the conditions of a border in Izz planted by our representative, and when you inform him, he comes out to summon them to you, then that they found one of them, he summoned him and he was raised to his place, then he followed him. For the road, beating him, and squeezing delicious food while he is sick, and you are well, and here he is healing you. As for someone in Ezz, there is no matter left for him, the matters of rulings, nor the knock of the Mukhzaniya, and we love you, my lord, to protect the oppressor from the oppressed, so that everyone remains with Muhammad. Our blessings be upon you and peace. And on the 12th of Shawwal in the year 1288 Sheikh Al-Tuhami bin Abdullah Al-Sakhrati, may God grant him peace.
