The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) After many questions have arisen about people of circumstances seeing the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while awake, and a group of people of the era who have no progress in knowledge are speaking out in denying that and astonishing at it and claiming that it is impossible, so I wrote this pamphlet in that regard and called it Enlightenment Al-Halak about the possibility of seeing the Prophet and the King.
The end of the manuscript: Then the trial of Al-Zubair, and its name in the Book of God is Al-Ajaba, then the trial of Ibn Al-Ash’at, and its name in the Book of God is Al-Nafeer, then he turns away and says, “And the fast remained, so I do not know how he went, and the book of Tanweer Al-Halak was completed regarding the possibility of seeing the Prophet and the King.”
