Notes Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. This book of ours was named by God, the most honorable of His commands, and its shining sun appeared in the sky of His Excellency, and its full moon rested from its honorable bearers, the noble Iraqi masters of space, the Husseinis, including my master Abdul Wahid bin Muhammad, my master Muhammad bin Idris, my master Hashim bin Muhammad, my lord Hashim bin Al-Arabi, and their cousins and their honorable Iraqi sons who live there. In Fez, it is known from him that we have renewed for them, in their possession, the backs of our honorable ancestors, may God have mercy on them, which includes reverence and respect for them as was due to them. We have given them more than what has been proven for them in respect and honor, and we have held them to full reverence and greatness, and we have approved them to spend their zakat and their tenths of crops and oil on those who are entitled to it among their weak Iraqis, males and females. We have given them charge of it and made its dispersal at the hands of the aforementioned honorable people without Whoever disputes with them or opposes them, and whoever surrounds them or roams around them in a way that is not appropriate for their position, the most severe punishment from us is obligatory, a complete and absolute renewal over the course of nights, days, months, and years, and whoever adheres to the writing of Al-Mansur Billah from among our servants, and the state has commanded it to be acted upon, and he does not find the noblest of his doctrine, and peace be upon the 4th of the second month in the year 1204.
