The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad (...) He said (...) Muhammad bin Suleiman Al-Jazouli (...): Praise be to God who guided us to faith and Islam, and may blessings and peace be upon Muhammad His Prophet (...) And then the purpose of this book is to mention blessings upon the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him (...) and I called it the Book of Evidence of Goodness.
End of the manuscript: We ask you, O God, to teach the fearful, to repent to the ungrateful, to be sincere to those who are certain, to thank the patient, and to repent the righteous. We ask you, O God, with the light of your countenance that reigns over the pillars of your throne, to implant in my heart your knowledge so that I may truly know you as you should be known. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and the Imam of the Messengers, and upon his family and companions, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and He is sufficient for us and the best disposer of affairs. Done.
