Notes Praise be to God, the witness whose name is mentioned here is known by Al-Murabit and Mr. Muhammad bin Omar Al-Zay’i Al-Batami with sufficient correct knowledge of it, and with it they testify that he and his group, the Almoravids, the people of Al-Batha, who live in Mount Beni Ourain, have sufficient and correct knowledge of it, and that he and his group have no involvement in the affairs of the tribe of Beni Ourain, nor of Beni Makud, and that there is no relationship between them and them, and that the aforementioned Almoravids are not to be considered for their neighbors, Beni Uran and Beni Makud, because they are oppressed and defeated by everyone. There is no coexistence between them and they because they have no brothers between them, nor a lineage, nor any of the things. Perhaps their closeness to those mentioned in the original, and whoever took them under the guarantee of the Banu Rayn and the Banu Makud, has gone beyond what he said. The command of the Lord, Glory be to Him, is an introduction. Rather, from the one who said, “And do not bear one burden of burden, bear another burden.” In all of this, according to his knowledge and the soundness of his certainty, and with what is included in it, his testimony was recorded, drawn from him to the one who asked it, and on the eighth of the month of May God announces Shawwal Al-Abarak in the year two hundred and eighty-seven and a thousand.
