The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who has counted everything in number (...) And then know, O you who desire to fulfill your demands, that the science of arithmetic is for the sake of useful sciences (...) In that noble scholar, Abu Salem Sidi Ibrahim bin Al-Qasim Al-Samlali Al-Qabil, he composed a poem in which there are thirty-four verses containing the work of integer numbers, then I append them with what completes one hundred and twenty verses, with the intention of benefit and advice, and I named their collection Wings of Desire to know the duties and arithmetic, so I explained it in an explanation. It contains a lot of redundancy that is appropriate only for the most advanced students, so I summarized a second explanation of it with casting for the purpose of benefiting, so I wanted to shorten this third, small explanation from them so that every short student could benefit from it, and I called it the key to the wings of desire in knowing the religious duties and arithmetic. So I said, seeking help from God Almighty, the One who is truly deserving of worship except Him. The aforementioned Nazim, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said.
End of the manuscript: Then I said, Praise be to God for perfection***because of the deeds he cares about. Then may peace and blessings be upon the Hashemi Messenger, Ahmad. And his family and his eminent companions*** and every believer from among the people.
