Notes Praise be to God, Abdul Qadir bin al-Tayyib al-Zarhuni al-Qulay`i al-Attar and Allal bin Allal al-Nasab were present and testified on their own behalf that they acquitted al-Hussein bin Khad al-Zarhuni al-Wardi al-Awal, acquitted him of the charge that his mule and horse, which he claimed had been stolen from him at night in Salfa, and that they acquitted him of the charge of his cow that had been stolen from his home, as well as a complete, absolute, general, and conclusive acquittal of every argument and dispute, whether it was long or short in the aspect of what was mentioned only, and no matter what they stood for. With him, they set eyes on him for calling what he mentioned, their call is invalid, and he demonstrated to them the evidence of what he mentioned, so he forged everything he did against him, and I do not criticize him for his presence, testimony, and disavowal of the trustworthy. They knew his worth and bore witness to his fulfillment, and he recognized them on the 24th of Rajab in the year 1287. He worshiped his Lord, Most High, and was not fit for Samir the Third. Our concern is for the servants of his Lord, Ibn Ali, may God grant him success through him, Amen.
