The beginning of the manuscript: I seek refuge in God Almighty and in His noble face from the accursed Satan. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Oh God, I seek refuge in the light of your holiness and the blessing of your purity.
The end of the manuscript: Protect me from those who inflict their vengeance upon me, and admit me into Your fortified shield, and cover me with Your protective veil, O You who protect me from everything, protect me from what concerns me regarding the affairs of this world and the hereafter, and make my words and deeds true to the truth, O Shafiq, O Companion, relieve me of all distress and do not burden me with what I cannot bear, O He who is the true truth.
