Our most beloved, earthly leader, Mr. Muhammad bin Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. After that, the trustworthy Mr. Hajj al-Mu’ti Safayra asked our master to travel to the East and strengthened his resolve for him, and our master gave him permission to do so. Accordingly, our Lord commands you to order him to do the accounting for the flogging he was dealing with with the trustees of Fez, and when he completes, he will report to the secretaries of the secretariat to look at the law, and God’s victory will command you to appoint someone to carry out the flogging plan in his place. And by standing up to Al-Hari in his place as well, and making him choose firmly, decisive, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and determination, blessings and peace be upon him on the 15th of Rabi’ Al-Thani in the year 1274 Muhammad Al-Saffar, may God grant him success.
