Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, the two Wasfas standing in Jinan, my master Bansr, our Lord, may God grant him victory, did not place them in that place except with the intention of serving and plowing over his happy wives, and that their benefit is more important than others. We have been informed that Ibn al-Araj’ expelled two of the Wasfas from the tillage and removed the husbands for them, so it cost him to return the husbands to them for plowing, for their benefit is more important than others, and love and peace in 13 Jumada Al-Thani in the year 1280 and the summer of high status, God willing
