The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) The scholar Muhammad bin Mazouz Al-Jazairi (...) Praise be to God, who made us articulate what we did not know and guided us, by His grace, to know what will lead us to the features of wisdom (...) As for what follows, this is a restriction on the elegant ladder in the science of logic that achieves the subtle meanings that He has given us while adding the necessary superficial minutes.
End of the manuscript: The scholars agreed that the servant no matter how he prayed is sufficient, and the best of them is what is narrated on his authority, may God bless him and grant him peace, as in the last witness of prayer. They also agreed that all actions are acceptable and rejected, except for praying for him, may God bless him and grant him peace, for they are definitely accepted out of respect for him.
