Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, and peace be upon our earthly servants, the trustees of the guarded marina of Tetouan. By God, may God grant you success, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. The French Embassy has submitted to our high presence, by God, its request for the supply of bran from the happy marinas with a tax of four billion for every hundred kilograms, as it was for it last year, and you responded with assistance in that regard, and we have provided you with assistance. So that you may be mindful, we command you to follow its requirements in discharging the mentioned load with the deed specified therein. Peace be upon you on the 19th of Sha’ban in the year 1327. Abd al-Hafiz Ibn al-Hasan, may God grant him success.
