Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, our master, the jurist, the Pasha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And then, let the noble one of your knowledge end. You taught good and warded off harm. A lonely man was present in some of the gardens of the Idrisiya corner. Then he quarreled with the son of a man of the masters of the gardens and hit him with a small stone that was under him. He stayed for a day or two and died. May God have mercy on us and on him. Glory be to the rest. Accordingly, we informed you that you would be mindful, and we arrested the killer while he was under our control in prison. Whatever you bought, you will have to work and serve and peace. On the 26th of Rabi’ 2 in the year 1287, your successor, Ali Al-Mazkiti.
