The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions (...) And then this is a treatise on the quarter of arches, including an introduction and sixteen sections. The introduction is in naming his drawings, the first of which is the center, which is the bakhsh in which is the thread. The arc of height is the circumference of the quarter divided by ninety equal degrees.
The end of the manuscript: A question about knowing the past and the rest from the side of the planet. Look at the star that is in the middle of the night and omit the risings of sunset from its risings. The past of the night remains at its middle. If the remainder is equal to the share of twilight, the middle of the time of dinner (...) then the merit of the share of dawn is the middle of the time of dawn, and this amount is sufficient for whoever God Almighty grants success to, and God knows best what is right, and to Him is the return and the return, it was completed, thanks to God and His good help.
