Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our master, and replace our father, the jurist, the earthly Pasha, the most blessed, the most glorious, Sidi Idris. Al-Siraj. May God protect you and take care of you. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God grant him victory and may God grant him peace. For our master’s knowledge, when I came to Bani Ammar, I directed the shepherds who had plundered the sheep of Siy al-Makki al-Musawi, and we decided to go with them. Suddenly, some of them came to Siy al-Makki. They slaughtered on it and took Ihram with it, and he sent to us and said, “These people wanted to separate and decided among themselves that each of those who attended the event should receive thirteen mithqals for each one, and they paid their due. Among them was the son of Hajj Abd al-Salam bin Ham, for he attended with them. As we commanded him to pay what he was obligated to do, he abstained and came to you, so your consideration of it is broader, and nothing remained for the completion of the herd of sheep except the aforementioned son of Hajj Abd al-Salam and the people of Qalal, and today they wanted Pay what they owed, and tomorrow, God willing, we will advance, with God’s power and strength, and look to you, and for service and peace, and whoever completed it came and with the sheep, he and his cousin Si al-Makki, coming down to us, receiving the dirham they exchanged for. Peace be upon Hajj bin Qasim al-Susi, may God protect him, Amen.
