Praise be to God alone and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, and grant him the highest status in which God has exalted his position in glory. He is mentioned by our highest love and our best earthly relic, the good that is accepted, and may God honor him, our most honorable master, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, the servant of the highest station. By God, complete peace, mercy, and blessings be upon your happy presence in the presence of our master, may God grant him victory and exalt his command in every station. Then know that here we are, along with its bearer, Mr. Abd al-Majid ibn al-Sayyid Muhammad ibn al-Haboub, a man about to be imprisoned. We love you. Put him in prison at your hand and weigh him down with iron, as is known. And also know that I am in the state of coming at this hour to the presence of our master, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the seventh of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1280. On the authority of the leader and jurist, Mr. Omar bin Si Ahsan al-Raziq al-Zarwali.
