Notes Praise be to God, the two noble supervisors, our best and decisive students, the two officers, my favorite master, the son of the late jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, and the merchant, my master, Hajj Ahmed, son of the late Sayyed Al-Amin, Mr. Hajj Al-Arabi Al-Sharat, obtained from the student-receiver, Sidi Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Al-Shami, fifty riyals from the beneficiary of whom he was appointed to take from the endowments of Al-Qarawiyyin, a full possession of them, and a release from their possessor mentioned therein regarding the permissibility of its value. He testified against them in its entirety and recognized them, and peace be upon them all on the twelfth of Jumada II of the year. 1314
