Praise be to God, the wages of 134 carpenters, a learner, 90 builders, a service of 3/58, two shutters, and a drain, all of which was collected in front of it... 312. Add to it the price of a quintal of lime and its loads, and fifteen loads of sand, all for the repair of the Al-Qarawiyyin wall opposite the Musbahiyya school and the two gates of the goat, decorated from the plastering above, which is in addition to the price of the residence, which amounts to thirty-one mithqals and two ounces, which the overseers reported. The two nobles, Sidi Muhammad al-Mufaddal al-Sarraj and Sayyid al-Hajj Ahmad al-Sharat, who were assigned to do so by our Lord, may God bless him, were the supervisors of the Qarawiyyin at that time, to hand it over to the waqf, as mentioned, and to make it on their day among the deeds of the detainees, along with the price of the residence above, in compliance with the honorable order, and on the 29th of Safar al-Khair in the year 1316.
