The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and the end is for the righteous, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the faithful Prophet, and upon his family and all his companions. Then, the poor servant of God Almighty says, Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Buyyaqubi, known as al-Mallawi (...) and I named him Tuhfat al-Qudah with some issues of shepherds and arranged them into seven chapters and a comprehensive.
The end of the manuscript: As for the reward for his standing up for half of his partner, if it is one of those who do not take the reward of hisbah and his lineage for that, then his request for this is considered a disgrace in (...) then there is no reward for him for that, otherwise he will have his reward. It is over, and it is sufficient. May His peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
