Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the family of our lover and the servant of our earthly master, the leader, Ali bin Al-Hajj. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God support him. After your letter arrived and its companion, then the donkey of Damnati and we searched for it, but it was not found. The price is suspended until its owner responds to us and enables him to have it. And the prisoner, here we are, released it to you, and the contract that you asked for will reach you. And peace be upon him. Muhammad Ibn Talib. God, praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our Master and Master Muhammad and his family and upon the servant of our Master, Zaki, peace, universal blessing, greetings and honor upon the shrine of the leader Muhammad ibn Talib. And after, your book written around it has arrived and we have understood what is in it, and now the donkey that you mentioned to us and for which I sent you twenty mithqals has found for us Al-Damnati and has now directed it to us itself. Otherwise, the donkey, for Bahluli bought it from Sefrou and headed with it to an ax from which Al-Damnati seized it. When our letter arrives to you, search it and look for it, except for the dirhams as we mentioned above. Peace be upon you. On the 27th of Jumada al-Akhira in the year 1274, Ali bin Al-Hajj Al-Makhloufi, may God grant him success.
