The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds (...) He says (...) Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Buyyaqoubi is a month in Al-Mallawi, may God make him among those to whom he will take refuge (...) I named it Tuhfat Al-Qudah with some issues of shepherds.
The end of the manuscript: Concerning someone who sells half of his horse to a man and it remains in the hands of the buyer for a period of time (...) such that requesting this from him is considered a disgrace against him, he will not be rewarded for that (...) and may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad (...) and honor and greatness. It was completed on Wednesday the seventeenth of Dhul-Hijjah al-Haram in the year 1275 by its writer (...) Abdullah bin Abdul [sic] from the Banu Musa Al-Wajdi (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
