Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, our master, the jurist, the eminent Pasha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After that, Mr. Muhammad Al-Mashat delayed with the regime and disclosed to those who owed him something from the beneficiary of imprisonment, and everyone who claimed something that he paid it to him and his deputies believed what was in the balance, and all that remained in the people’s debts is 04489, and that is from the year 04489. 89 and eighty-six only, and as for the year 1287, neither field nor its glory entered upon him, and likewise they were held accountable for him in a report according to the decree, sir, the overseer, Mr. Aj Qaddur al-Sarraj, and we informed you that you would be considerate and in service and peace, and on the 27th of Ramadan, 1288 your successor, Ali Al-Mazkiti.
