Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our most glorious lover and servant of our most happiest master, the most guided leader and jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. And after, sir, your friend directed us to the matter of the old tithes of grains and oil. Know, sir. You will hold us accountable in front of the trust until it is all clear, and we found that with its masters. Some of them paid what he answered for them, and some of them paid their price to the sheikh. The Arab, and here he kept it under his hand and took care of what was in it, and I, sir, did not find the capacity for him or for anyone else, and all of that was imposed on a number of countries, and he occupied himself with his possession of them also, as well as the tenths of the oil, because he used to tell you that it is still in our possession, and now, sir, here it is revealed to him to his masters, as we mentioned, and you, sir, looked closely and found that the aforementioned sheikh owed six and a half pieces of oil, and he still owed him, among all that we mentioned, as for the issue of the people who furnished your companion. You concealed this and told him not to besiege him, and you wrote to the sheikh to direct them to you, but your order was not complied with. And here he is preparing to direct his brother to release to him the thief and his brother who were acquitted in the first place regarding your mentioned friend. Now, sir, if you are satisfied with this matter, then no one intends out of lack of chivalry. As for being lax with these tithes and with his hand, that is due to our love for you, because he wants to go along with it and tell you that he has nothing to do with it, and he It is all on his hands, and this is what we teach you. Peace be upon the representative of the son of Sayyid Muhammad bin Al-Muati, called Al-Rafash. May God protect him and grant him success, Amen.
