Notes
Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, from the servant of his Lord, Glory be to Him, Ahmed bin Al-Shahid Al-Wazzani Al-Hasani, to our beloved jurist Al-Basha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect you and grant you a good end, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. Then in it, the mosque of Sidi Muhammad Al-Hajj, may God benefit from it. His confinement was weak. He had thirty-five oqiyas for the imam and the muezzin, and they were poor and stubborn, and they treated him according to what he wrote. God is in what concerns him, then in Him today, when the time was difficult, they were overcome by the situation and they were in need of charity. The House of God was filled with neither bed nor oil. We asked of your great benevolence and treatment that you help the House of God with your dearest word and write to the superintendent who will appoint him to stand in what concerns the mosque and your reward and work for God. May God honor you and place you in the care of the people of God and peace.
