The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God alone, and from the blessed supplications, say, “O Lord, bring me in as an entrance of truth, and bring me out as a way out of truth, and grant me authority from You as a supporter. O Lord, bring me into the sea of Your Oneness (...) and strengthen me with the strength of Your authority.”
End of the manuscript: I ask you, with good construction and with the radiance of your face, to admit me, by your mercy, into the gardens of bliss, O Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. The author concluded. He also gave me permission to calculate the number 690, and God Almighty grants success in favor of deeds, and likewise His name, Most High, is gentle and 12 arrange every prayer.
