Notes Praise be to God alone          And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our beloved, the most glorious, the most noble, the elite of the virtuous and the fountain of virtues, the Khadim al-Janaab, the Pasha, the most eminent jurist, Mr. Muhammad bin Talib. May God protect your place and raise upon you the mercy and blessings of God Almighty for the best of our master, may God support him and grant him victory. May God perpetuate his glory and exalt him. We are commanded to direct to you a statement of what Abd al-Salam bin Zakri incurred from the port of Casablanca, and what he brought with it. To collect it from his brother, Hajj Hammadi, and if he pays it, we are obliged to pay it. We will drop it from him from other boats, because our master, may God honor him, enlarged for him a boat’s worth of money after he paid a boat’s title on hand. We will release another to him, and so on. Accordingly, you will receive the frame of the aforementioned Hajj Hammadi, including five thousand mithqals and a hundred mithqals, seventy mithqals, and nine uqiyahs. This is how it is arranged. And Mazu (Bitr) and Dar Al-Bayda, so take it from him, may God bless you, and we answered (Bitr) as our master commanded, may God bless him and with love and peace on the 5th of Shawwal Al-Abrak (Bitr)                Trustees of our Master
