Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. Our lover and servant of our earthly master, the noble leader, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God protect you and protect you. Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of God Almighty, for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. We have reached your letter and learned what is in it, and the two thousand and five hundred rubles of the Al-Amid, our master, have arrived by directing them at your hand to the glory of the English, preserved in the city. Inside each pennant is five and a half hundred riyals for the trustees to be raised in public as our master, may God bless him and grant him peace and love, commanded on the 10th of Rajab al-Fard in the year 1285 Muhammad Barqash, may God be kind to him.
