Notes	Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our most dear and earthly lover, the long-term seeker and the benevolent one, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, may God protect you and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, our brother who held him used to go out to pluck the crops of the Zarahnah, who were workers in Fez, and when they returned to it, he had to be martyred for him because he was in a weak condition and shackled with many children, so we would like you to nominate him for this as usual, if it appears to you. Using it in other things also is appropriate. Likewise, the good opinion of you is what leads someone like you to do such good deeds. May God reward you on our behalf and bless you, Amen, and with love and peace on the opening of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 1278. Abdul Qadir Al-Fassi, may God be with him.
