Praise be to God alone, our supreme master, and our offspring, Al-Hasan, the jurist, the writer, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, his bearer is the teacher Qaddour bin Saeed Al-Jarni, a ungrateful person with no apparent money, no assets, no honors, no real estate. I arrested him in prison for being one of Fassi’s debtors, until when he wanted to go to Fez Al-Qarawiyyin, six of his brothers gave him permission and supported him for what he might, and now he has given a guarantor. He faced him and I arrested his son and asked me to go to your presence to speak with you verbally and to do what you command. Peace be upon you, on the 16th of Jumada al-Thani in the year 1279 your successor in the Zawiya, Si Muhammad al-Aghazawi, may God be kind to him.
