Notes The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The news about the construction of the al-Qarawiyyin hermitage was honored by God Almighty by mentioning it when Imam Abu Abbas Ahmad bin Abi Bakr began building the al-Qarawiyyin hermitage. The end of the manuscript: He wrote to the Arab tribes urging them to wage jihad, then he began sending armies to Andalusia for the rest of the aforementioned year.
