Notes Praise be to God alone                   and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, the servant of our most glorious master, the leader of the most glorious, Sidi Idris, peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our master, may God honor him and immortalize his kingdom. Know, sir, your dear letter arrived to me indicating to the respected ones the shrine of the righteous guardian that they should be taken out of it and you gave me orders over them, so we complied with your honorable command, and you attended the enemy with your aid, the commander of the Jilali, with the sheikh of the Almoravid, and you read it to him. So he disbelieved in God and said, “By God, after you command him with your tongue, he will not depart from them.” One of them, a great man, was arrested without my presence and was destroyed by beatings. My group was terrified and wanted to destroy them, so I feared your punishment. And now, they have made light of the Mukhazaniyah, and the little ones have had to mock your word in the presence of your friend. By God, my master, if he does not appear among them except until you see the wonder in them, and do not think, my master, that they are in need, they have a redress, and if your letter comes to me with their arrest, we will bring them to you one after the other. One, do not be intimidated, sir, about them, they say about their ugly actions, and your view, sir, is broader, and upon your dear service, peace, on the 21st of Ramadan in the year 1281                           Sheikh Muhammad bin Al-Arabi Al-Yousifi, may God grant him peace.
