Notes
Praise be to God and to the supremacy of our master, the most eminent jurist, the most eminent and the best, my master Al-Tayyib bin Al-Yamani, complete peace on the continued victory of our Lord the Imam, and after that, Mr. Muhammad Ibn Khadra resided in a room above me in the house of his son-in-law Al-Zubayri, and we gave him permission to enter alone and to leave the same to fulfill the necessities without leaving the house anything, according to what we commanded him to do, and on love and peace, 21 Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1282 Idris Al-Sarraj Praise be to God and peace be upon our dearest love. May God have mercy on our master, may God support him. There have been those who said that the purpose of his request (to cut off) his son-in-law was to remove what might be feared for him (cutting off) this matter among us, and I informed you that he has the one in charge of keeping the door so that he does not let him take out the slightest thing (cutting off) the servants to search for supplies, let him work, and as soon as our master leaves, I review this matter with him because I am the one who consulted about his entry and I feared that something good might result from that.
