Praise be to God alone, our master, the respected father, the glorious jurist, the grand vizier, my master, Hajj Muhammad al-Muqri, may God protect you, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God support him. After we received your letter and herewith, a judicial obligation, which some individuals from Casablanca submitted to honorable admonition, regarding what they said to the person named Muhammad al-Abdi al-Kanuni al-Boanani, mentioning that the jurist judge submitted a copy of this obligation to the court, here to punish al-Habbani, and so far, he has not been given what he deserves, and after learning of knowledge, The honorable has ordered our Lord, may He be exalted, to write to us to conduct a thorough investigation into the case and inform His Majesty of the outcome so that He may see to it what will help in the matter. Accordingly, he was patient with us as we investigated the issue, so he informed His Majesty the delegate from Al-Makhzani that this case had reached the court, and since the bank manager interfered in it, the aforementioned delegate paid it to the administration in Rabat at the end of last September, and to date, he has not received an order in it that ends this, for honorable knowledge. He named it, and we have returned to Your Excellency the positive number you directed to us, perhaps to establish it and the prophecy and peace on the 20th of Rabi’ 1 in the year 1366 corresponding to the 11th of April 1947. The above letter with the address was addressed to the honorable admonition at the hands of the representative on the 13th of 47
