The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who created man and favored him with great excellence (...) and what is intended by this is an introduction to the virtues of our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, Sidi Muhammad, and his son, the Commander of the Faithful, Maulana Ismail (...) and I named him Rawdat Al-Sulaymaniyah in mentioning the kings of the Ismaili state and its predecessors among the Islamic countries from the emergence of Islam to the state of this Imam (...).
End of the manuscript: This tradition reached the city of Fez on the sixteenth of Rabi’ al-Awwal of the year 1238 (...) and in the year 1239 the Sultan headed with all the soldiers to the Battle of Conquest.
