The beginning of the manuscript: Abdul Wahid Ibn Ashir says, “In the name of God Almighty.” Praise be to God who has taught us the sciences with which He has entrusted us (...) and then help is from God the Glorious in composing verses for the illiterate that are useful in the Ash’ari contract, Malik’s jurisprudence, and in the method of Junayd al-Salik.
The end of the manuscript: I named it Al-Murshid Al-Mu`een *** on what is necessary from the religious sciences, so we will always ask for benefit from it *** from our Lord for the sake of the Master of Humans. It has ended, praise be to God Almighty. *** May the peace and blessings of God be upon the Noble Guide. The systems marked as the guide appointed to the necessary religious sciences have been completed, praise be to God Almighty, and it was completed in the middle of Shawwal in the year 1269.
