Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, my master is a forger, take your honorable hand with blessings, Sidi Mamoon. He complained that the mule of Lal Fatima Al-Zahra, the mother of the aforementioned Sidi Mamoon, diminished his chastity and slandered his honor, so he who was entrusted with him should leave his way, and I commanded that no one of the Sharif’s brothers approach him. He mentioned that they enter his house and it contains what is forbidden and is not noble, and we love you alone who stands on what he has limited. And with love and peace, on the 24th of Sha`ban in the year 1281, may God grant you high status.
