Notes
Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon the one after whom there will be no prophet. May God perpetuate the honor of our earthly master and jurist, Hajj Idris al-Sarraj. After peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Three members of the military were spending the night with one of the groves rented in Fez Al-Ulia, then an animal was stolen from the aforementioned groves, and they accused the aforementioned military personnel of it, and they were arrested by the Basha, and they were imprisoned for nearly a month, saying that they were acquitted of what they had accused him of. And they remained vulnerable to loss and there is no helper for them except God. Now they are asking for the law to fulfill it and to look at the law. So we wanted you, may God honor you, to write to the Pasha to look into their case, and you will be rewarded and rewarded. By God, because they are in the west and there is no helper for them except God. Peace be upon you on 02 Safar in the year 1281. From now on, may God bless you, Nafula Agha, around him. If these soldiers are innocent or as he said, then there is no objection to discharging them to a place in their service, and if they are accused and your consideration requires dismissing the incident to the Sharia, then that is what is meant. We and you are in the truth, the same and in love. May peace be upon him, hastened on the 2nd of Safar in the year 1281. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant him peace.
