May the peace and blessings of God be upon our master Muhammad and his family, the jurist, the long-lasting blessing, the best, the most honest, the best, the only, most beautiful Pasha, Sir Idris al-Sarraj. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then, the dearest, I received your letter that our Lord, may God grant him victory, lasted the supervisors and ordered the appointment of other people from Fez, and they listened and obeyed. I gave them permission to go and restrict their status for the duration of their absence with the intention of accounting. I know, sir, they have arrived and are busy restricting their purpose. Then they went to the companionship of the friend and the righteousness of the one who did it. So let my master be mindful of their righteousness, for they bore witness to her discipleship of the goodness of their condition, their standing, their firmness, their control, and other things that I witnessed in their testimony, and their lies have become clear to you, and do not hide from you what the slanderer is obligated to do, especially the unjust ones, by whom rights are established and the unseen matter is cleared from them, God willing, so pay attention to this matter and be mindful of it in accounting, for what happens to them and accountability is done to them without discussion, and their outcome is known as praiseworthy. With them because they are their assistants and they belong to them in everything they command them, and you must be informed of it. Peace be upon you on the 23rd of Qa’dah in the year 1278, your successor, Mr. Muhammad, may God protect him with his blessings.
