Notes
Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master and master Muhammad, his family and his companions, our beloved, the glorious earth, and the servant of our virtuous master, al-Murtada, the student, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God protect you and take care of you and your successors. Peace and mercy of God be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. Know, may God guide you and help you, that when Hajj Abdul Majeed Ibn Kiran was in Casablanca with the intention of honorable service, he presented his son to him with the intention of He went to Gibraltar, and when he decided to ride, his father spoke to the merchant Yahya Al-Sayegh, one of the merchants in Casablanca, about the fact that her son had arrived in Gibraltar and needed money there, which the aforementioned friend of Yahya Al-Sayegh would pay him. Yahya gave him a handwritten letter to his friend in Al-Jabal stating that if Hajj Abdel Majeed’s son came to him and asked him for something that he could not give it to him, then when the boy traveled and arrived in Gibraltar, he met Yahya’s friend and asked him for money and gave it to him. Three hundred large riyals, an additional large riyal, and four tiles after I confirmed his handwriting to him. When the time had passed for Yahya’s friend, he sent the handwriting of Hajj Abdelmajid’s son to Yahya in Casablanca to take possession of the money. He found that Hajj Abdelmajid had traveled from Casablanca. Hajj Abdelmajeed had given permission to the Secretary, Mr. Hajj Muhammad Ibn Jalloun, that he had a frame for him to address a rebuttal to him. He directed it to him and wrote letters to him and responded to him with inconsequential information, and a day before the date of this letter. We brought Yahya Al-Sayegh to us while he was very upset and embarrassed, and he complained to us about this issue. Then he decided to write to Qunsouh in the ports of Tangier, and he was writing to our master, may God support him, about this heinous act that Hajj Abdel Majeed had done to him. We rebuffed him from that when he attacked him, and out of kindness, he was kind to Hajj Abdel Majeed and promised us to write to you to oblige Hajj Abdel Majeed or his son to bring the money to his Lord or his companion. Accordingly, what is required of your Excellency is that you He is very serious about this issue so that the right does not remain an argument against anyone else. May God bless you and continue to benefit you and your love. Peace be upon you on the 20th of Hajj in the year 1278. He must pay the dancer’s fee, for he only directed him to be kind to him. Muhammad bin Idris Al-Jarari, may God be kind to him.
