Praise be to God for the rent for two builders with 144 craftsmen and 7/134 servicemen, rent for a carpentry and a drainer for 28, rent for 5/70, a butcher for 28, a servant for 18 and a drainer for 28. Also, for the descent of the Qarawiyyin’s bricks, the removal of the spring growing in the shoots, and the throwing of the knots that came out of the aforementioned, 452 total sums of the above-mentioned forty-five mithqals and two two ounces. It was brought out by the respected overseer, Sidi Muhammad al-Mufaddal al-Sarraj. According to the representation on behalf of himself and his partner in the supervision, because he was absent from the village supervisors at that time, so that they would hand it over to the one who was responsible for it, Ibn al-Habib, and that it would be in their day according to the honorable command, may God and peace be upon him, on the 27th of Qada in the year 1316.
