Notes
Praise be to God, our earthly lover, the friendliest leader, my Farji. Peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, we have received an order from our Lord, the Caliph, may God honor him, to make sense of the olive tree’s attack on the sons of Ibn Sawda and on their adversaries who are quarreling with them until the obeyed Sharia rules according to the limits of the two parties. Know that we directed against the sons of the jurist and judge, Sayyid al-Mahdi, who are suspected of dispute over that, and we inquired with them about the issue, and we found them devoid of that, so we love you, God bless you. In you, you show us the leaders of the call to carry out the command of our Lord, and it is necessary and with love and peace, hasten Idris Al-Sarraj, Sidi Yahya Al-Kattani, Sidi Muhammad Al-Omrani, Sidi Muhammad Al-Musawi, and Ibn Amr. These disputers and those who entered the olive tree through the door of Sidi Bi Jaidah are those mentioned below: Abdul Salam bin Sawda, Al-Makki Al-Qadmiri, and the owner of Al-Sarraj.
