Notes Praise be to God alone, our dearest earthly lover, Sir Muhammad ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. We have reached your book and we know what is in it and we have learned what appears in the tithes of oil of goodness and blessing until you stopped buying the copper, so our Lord commands you to buy it from the price of the old oil after paying what the defect in it was sold for. And may God grant him victory. He said that the expansion issued by him before the Muslims with it is what brought blessing in it, and as for the gold that you stopped on, here is the coin that you were using. You returned to us your receipt in kind. Take what you need and return the rest. Then, you must ask Hajj Muhammad al-Ruzini and Hajj Boujanan about everything that they acquired for the purpose of a gift from the first master, the knitters, and the sheds that were deposited for them in the storehouse, and other things, and what is about to be paid to them at your hand, from the scraps, knitwear, and saddles to them, so that we may know all that was brought with the intention of a gift, and peace be upon the 3rd of Ramadan in the year 1274.   Muhammad Al-Saffar, may God grant him success
