Notes Praise be to God alone, our beloved earthly friend and servant of our master Al-Anjad Al-Ahda Al-Qaid Farji. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our master, may God grant him victory and victory. A woman named Mina bint Sidi Al-Hajj Muhammad Al-Filali Al-Khaili, one of the residents of Al-Qasba, was approached by Commander Al-Mu’ti Ibn Ali Al-Ratabi and stayed on her with her cloak until he strangled her. This affected her neck until it turned black, which is something that a sane person does not often do. He picked her up and threw her on the ground, making her fall on a piece of stick. There on her stomach, intentionally, wrongly, according to what you will find out in a drawing that you will receive from him, so see it. When he learned of what he was doing and that the censure had fallen upon him, we were informed that he had imprisoned himself in the Haute Fez prison, and you should not acknowledge his scheming and trickery. Rather, what is required is that he should impose a violent rebuke that he hears similar to, to deter him from his action and to rebuke others like him, and the punishment is in proportion to the crime and with love and peace on the 24th of Muharram al-Haram, the first of the year 1279. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant him peace. Praise be to God alone for our beloved, earthly jurist, the most honorable, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant him peace. Peace be upon the best of our Lord, the Imam, may God grant him victory. And after that, the man accused about him is of no knowledge to us, as he put himself in prison. When you directed the censure charge to us, and we looked at it, and we looked at you about him, we searched for him, and we found him, as you mentioned, in prison. His command, love and peace, 20 Muharram 1279                   high status in God, my relief
