Praise be to God alone, our righteous lover, the earthly, the most honorable, the jurist, the most respected, my favorite sir, Ibn al-Muneim, my sir Idris al-Sarraj. Peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After I reached the high abode in God, twenty-five capacities, each with five sweet pounds, the blessed and happy season according to custom and love and peace on the 26th of Rajab in the year 1315.
